BBB or forum seniors, I am sure there are many in a similar situation. Having applied to many programs I have heard nothing from a majority of them. 1) Should we expect a response from ALL programs? 2) Are the programs who do send rejections just being courteous enough to do so? Thank you Ann

1. No, all programs will not give you a response. 2. Yes, they are being courteous.

Dear BBB, If not all programs will respond, when is the appropriate time to send them an email to check on status of application? Althought technically, we have up until mid Jan for inv, I understand chances are getting low past mid-november for ivs. By then , we are probably just waiting for someone to drop their inv to get their spots. What is your advice, BBB? thanks.

Send your request to find out your application, I only receive 40 emails requesting a status update or to add information to the file or so a day. I try to answer as many as I can, but can't do all of them. Scheduling and rescheduling is a little higher on my to-do list. Although I could stop reading this page and answer more emails, I suppose.......
