Hi all
I am a Jap IMG 2007 graduate. I am planning to get Phd in US after graduation but I really dont know where I can get useful ifmfor ex: the requisition, aplications, or which universities are available for IMG..... Here we dont require MD for PHD since a med grad is considered as a MD, so I really dont know what about US....
I am planning to study for usmle while doing Phd in US...So please please answer me...

1. Find your area of interest
2. GOOGLE is your friend
3. Visit websites of several Universities that match your area of interest
4. contact faculties on those universities that are doing research on your area of interest
5. tell them about your qualification, interests, research, publications etc.
6. ask them about possibilities of doing Phd at their institutions
7. meet all requirements for Phd programs, e.g. GRE, TOEFL, recommendations, personal statements, application forms etc. etc.

thanks a lot for ur reply,
actually speaking, I am keen on IM esp GI or Cardiovas. I am trying to search now and hope can catch a chance after my graduation. coz i think it is much better for us IMG to have some US publications or if possible, USCE. And the best way is to come to the states ASAP with competitive USMLE score.....
