Ans A seems to be correct out of these three but can a procedure be done only on the grounds that patient wants it ? even if it is not indicated ? raised eyebrow

SEEMS TO BE 1 THE BEST OPTION IN THIS QUESTION. BUT IT WILL NOT BE ON THE EXAM BECAUSE THIS QUESTION IS A CLEAR CONFLICT BETWEEN TWO PRINCIPALS

1) DO NOT PERFORM UNNECESSARY PROCEDURE ON PATIENT REQUEST
2) KEEP THE PATIENT AS MUCH COMFORTABLE AS YOU CAN, PT IS YOUR NUMBER 1 PRIORTY.

SO IT IS A BAD QUESTION AND MAKE THE PEOPLE CONFUSE.

well kaplan notes says, if a patient request inappropraite treatment then we shld ask why she need that and we should offer what it right for her,and we can reffuse if we think its inappropraite.if lscs in not indicated then we dont need to oblige her request and offer her analgesics. guys please correct me if im wrong
