hey everyone, thought I'd chime in since I just received my CK score
my stats:
(Step 1 240/97)
Step 2:
total prep time was 3 months
did not read kaplan or watch videos
First Aid for Step 2: read during the last few weeks.
Boards and Wards: once.
Crush Step 2: twice
USMLEworld: 63% 1900 questions, no repeats, all tutor mode
NBME test #1: 500
Step 2 score: 230/93
the 2 best resources were clearly usmleworld and 1st aid. A lot of people don't use first aid, since the rumor is that it's not as good as step 1 first aid. I would definitely disagree, I found first aid to be a GREAT resource. Kaplan was too time consuming so I didn't do it. In retrospect, I think reading through all of kaplan medicine would have been a good idea.
And once again, the NBME tests were VERY predictive. Those tests have now predicted my step 1 and step 2 scores within +/- 10 points, and I think they are the most useful predictive tool, much more than usmleworld, at least for my 2 board exams.
I passed CS a few weeks ago, so I'm DONE!!!

What was your score on UW for Step 1. How many Q u did and how did u find them?

I did kaplan for step 1, video course at the kaplan center and also did all qbank questions, not usmleworld. don't recall my percentage. maybe in an old post?
