I'm so low. I feel like crying.
I only scored a 430 on the nbme (201/81)
I cant believe it....I have studied so much over the past few months...I have read so much but alas...I think I might b really unintelligent...even though I have a mean IQ of 135,.....Where did I lag? What went wrong? .... Am I not worth it , LORD???
y did it have to b me??? WHYYYYYY?????
And I can swear upon God, I have good concepts ...I have good memorisation power..I've always been the genius kid, the last minute reader..but this time I really studied.....WHYYYYYYYY?????
All these yrs I thought I was intelligent when in reality I'm not.....
I'm Not....
I'm not sitting for this exam....
Its just not worth the trouble.....

Hey salmonella.......I really missed you and bordetella all those days.
Hey don't be so sad dear. You ARE intelligent. I am sure. If you were not intelligent, you could not be a doctor for sure. Each one of us is among the cream of their countries.
I have read on this forum over and over again that this exam does not reflect how intelligent you are but there are a few other things that also matter.
I have no doubt that you worked hard. I could see your hardwork thru your jounal.
430 might not be the score of your dreams but it is not a bad score. It only reflects that you need to polish up a few things. I have heard that nbme tells you what your weak areas are. In my opinion, pay attentions to those areas .
Have you practised enough qs? If not , do them now.
Do not think of quitting. Somtimes we give up when success is only a few steps away .
I am sure you can get the score of your dreams . Go for it .

Hey, somebody got 420 on nbme1, s/he thought s/he should gotten much higher, s/he took nbme3 later and s/he got 620. Sometimes wierd things happen. Don't give up!

hey unique 1 you expert advise you look like an expert mle person everyword from you is true.
& for salmonella you know what you are better then so many of us.at least got 430..

hey partner u know u CAN do it on the exam, u'll score nothing less than a 99 inshaALLAH !!
Its just that u have to memorixe the stuff & I am sure u'lll do great next time u take NBME!!
THANKS UNIQUE1...I missed the forum too,was studying [no,no sont think that I was doing that with alll my concentration & devotion that s why cud not log in here]...I wasn't v persisitent with them but nevertheless was doing them;also wasn't well a few days !!Am in much better shape now!!ALhamdolillah ,good luck to u tooo & keep me in prayers too!!

Hey Salmonella Cheer up!!
Don't be so dishearted by the score.Quitting is not the solution to anything you do in life.
You definately are intelligent.The score doesn't tell you how much you know your subjects but how well you integrate it.You are definately ready to give step1 a big bang as I have have browse your journal and know you have worked hard.
Come on step forward...start doing question more and more and MORE.....
You can do it and I know it
