I am done with my step 1 and CS. and yesterday , i checked my oasis and found that i cleared my step 2 ck too.
I applied to a lot of programs already and most are waiting for my certification. I know that it takes around 14 days.
But, I really dont know how to initiate the process. Do i need to apply somewhere or pay a fees? I believe that I can also fasten the process by a day by paying money for fed-ex instead of regular mail.
can someone guide me thru the process by which I can get the certification ASAP? ECFMG already received all the credentials and certificates from my med school.

They will send it to you by FedEx. You don't need to apply or pay.

Yes, I did get a email today that ECFMG mailed it thru Fed-EX.
However, I got another question for u- yesterday, I saw in Myeras that an updated usmle transcript has been sent to all the programs--- does it mean the updated step 2 score--- or does it mean updated step 2 score + certification.
I am asking that since, some programs require step 2 score-- while most programs also require the certification. In other words, do i get another updated usmle transcript when the certifcation has also been sent to the programs?

If they updated USMLE transcript, then that means they sent your Step 2 score; they update ECFMG Status Report for you certificate.

Thank you very much! They updated the ECFMG status report a cpl of hrs after the transcript.

now i got a 3rd usmle transcript update ( in addition to the ecfmg status report update and 2nd usmle transcript update yeterday) is this normal
