I'm scheduled to take Step 1 AGAIN this November. I already paid for it and extended it already. And so I can't extend it anymore. I am doing questions these past few weeks and I think I am more confident the first time i tried taking step 1 than now. My scores are so much lower than before. If you're in my shoes, would you take the risk of taking Step 1 again? What if I failed again... I'll have a record of failing it twice. But if I didn't take it... I'll lose my payment for this exam. Advise me please.

well, if you fail it, it will leave a bad record. unless you have confidence that you will pass, i think that you should just forget about the money. which is more important, fail that exam or lose some money? you already took it before, so you don't need the "experience" again.

Thanks summer thunder. I am still trying to review for November. But if I am not confident, as you said, better postpone my exam. Pray for me. Hopefully, miracles will happen with me and usmle.
