1.how do we ask a patient or sp if he uses any recreational drugs?
2. suppose on asking a patient if he drinks alcoholic beverages he responds , i have 2 shots of scotch on the rocks.
what does that mean?how much and how frequent?
3. a patient of shoulder pain ?
on asking sexualhistory if he says iam not sexually active now?
are we supposed to ask anyother thing in sexual history and if so, what

ask recreational drugs in social history.." do u do drugs?" as simple as that or phrase it anyway u like it. they will be more than eager to respond.
didnt get ur question on shoulder pain
of course u wouldnt have to probe more into sexual history if sexually inactive...but do not forget to ask the reason for inactivity... i had DM related ED in one SP.
