hey, i wrote letters to a lot of path departments... and i ended up getting a spot near home in no time. i'm in canada (im canadian and rotated here), so it might be a bit different. if you're in the states, there are so many more hospitals there. it's been an awesome experience. lots of hands on stuff. it lets you see what you're getting into. hope you get a spot.

FATIN: Observership in path. means that 4 to 6 weeks u go in a path department and OBSERVE the work pathologists do. U are not allowed to touch anything, but u are free to ask and answer questions. At the end of your weeks u get a characterization from the doc that supervised you. good luck

do u which hospitals in michigan give u observerships in pathology? henry ford doesnt i knw.
