its for an img who wants to settle in usa.
1.if he gets j1 visa 7 yrs,waiver 3 yrs may be increased to 5 yrs.then apply for green card-once in green card,then usa citizenship takes 5 yrs to apply.then it shud be processed which may take from 1 yr to 5 yrs depends on the load.
so totally 16 to 20 yrs.
we are already 28 ,so then 28 plus 20 is 48 yrs old.
if we are in h1b,then we need a sponserer,and work under him for minimum of 2 yrs then can get a green card,but it also depends on the load of applications which many do not know.
2.compared to many other developed countries like australia,newaealand, citizenship will require only max of 5 yrs.
plz dont be under the impression that permanant residency and citizenship are the same,they are quite different and have their own merits.
3.jackpot.....marry a us citizen,,,,
but shud be prior to getting j1 or h1b or any other visa.
but u shud have stayed in us for a minimum of 2 yrs.and no divorse until u get citizenship.
then direct green card,and u can apply for citizenship in just 3 yrs,and no much que.
so maximum of 4 yrs.
wow,sounds great but then marrying is not an easy job,and one cant marry to be a us citizen.
please i want many suggestions and also if there are any loopholes in us govt rules to be a citizen without marrying.
some are
1.working in us military service fastens the process of citizenship.
2.usa lottery system,please try this guys but its not for imgs from india and pakistan
3.if u have done any work,which the usa govt thinks it was saving life of people in us,or u did any miracle so as to save usa country,then direct citizenship.wow wow wow.
