Started mid-Oct
Try to finish by next March.
Finished Psychiatry+ Little Part of Medicine
Did a little of UW, scores around 33-41%.
Another hugh job.
Trying to finish my Ph.D in a year, so this is a dual race at their ends.
Have to run fast.

hi i am also a recent starter ...... started step 2 in mid oct 2 ...trying to rush through notes and the dvds.. will write the exam in march too....can u tell which other books would u be using ..like i mean do u intend to do harrisons internal med self assessment and the pretest series @good year

Back to intense prep again:
Finished Surgery and Ethics videos
Finished OB Videos, some internal medicine videos
Did UW 46 Qs of OB/GYN on tuesday, 52%.
UW expired before I really started to use it.
Got Q review yesterday for 6 months.
Try to resume UW after a while.
My deadline is Aug this year to make it for 08 match.
But, Have to finish my last year of Ph.D.
Hopefully I can take tests faster to make more time for thesis.
Will do Good!

Did NBME1 yesterday , only 270.
Didn't finish 1st reading, did 30% of Kaplan Q bank, 52%.
Have to speed up

Kap simulation test on line: 56%
Psy:76%
OB/GYN:64%
Ped:56%
IM:50%
Surgery:50%
I will concentrate on IM and Sur and UW in the next month.
Watching 1st season of Grey's anatomy and HOUSE MD
can help you to build up a visual sense of real life senarios:
For me who did not do any residency after graduate in 2001, that is a good way of learning.
At least I know why ABC and MRI/CT is so crucial in our tests, --> a clinical common sense.
My test will be on Sep30,

Did NBME2 on Sep 10, got 370.
Now reviewing surgery and pediatrics
