He has developed antibodies to HBcAg and HBeAg and thats the reason why you dont see those antigens in his blood. Now he is developing antibody to HBsAg which is just enough for the amount of antigen present. So he is in the equivalence phase. Once the amount of antibody outgrows the amount of antigen , we will see that also in the blood.
