Hi there:
I have a question. I only passed my step 1 yet and have given Step 2CS and registered for step 2 CK in November. Should I ask for ERAS token? what is it and how does it work.
Next thing is that I am applying through NRMP to residency -2007. Should I have my ERAS token before that?
I am confused what is all this? Please help me out.
Thanks

yes, you can.
first - ask for ERAS token (it takes 1-2 days)
then you can apply to ERAS
and then you can apply to programs
then you apply to NRMP

hurry buddy
- there is a lot work on CAF, CV/Personal statement (all in ERAS)
- do you have any LoRs?
- You also need medical school transcript and MSPE from your school, some schools dont know what it is and there is a problem then....

Dear vsp99: Thank you very much for your earliest response. I only want to apply in Psychiatry or may be in FP. I only have my step 1 score in 80's, already took CS (results yet to be issued); and have CK in mid December.

I do have LORs (one from a Psychiatrist and two from research people ; I have my CV and personal statement ready as well as have MSPE....

I don't know about CAF? what is it?

One thing more, IS IT OK TO APPLY WITH ONE SCORE ONLY OR WILL IT BE A WASTAGE OF MONEY? Actually I prepared everything but did not want to apply with one score and that is not even a stellar score; but people said that at least try your luck........

Please please, I need a sincere advice; should I apply or not?
Thanks a lot and BOL to you all!
