Difficult Qs. Some people here get 10-20 ivs, some others get nothing. In both groups you can find people with average scores, high scores, visa requirements, no USCE. Only PDs know what they are lookin for. Just wait and pray.

Raul, the hospitals i came across that offer observerships r MSU, East Lansing, Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, also approach all hospitals around the area u live in(pvt/teaching), and try to observe/shadow an internist in outpatient/inpatient facility, it may not mean much, i.e. to observe in pvt hospital as against a teaching hospital, but u can get a LOR out of it, and also keep ur CV going..

good luck.

Raul....let me share my experience with you......stop looking for specific hospitals!!!!.......go to the best University based hospital nearby you place. Ask ALL the attendings and faculty in the field you desire If they could keep you as their observer for a couple of months. I guarantee 150% you will get you Observership, and also you will see how many nice people are out there. smiling face

Many of them are so willing to help, that they bend the rules a little bit for you. Tha problem is that Amazon doesn't have a book with their names....SO GET YOUR B..... MOVING AND LOOK FOR THEM!!! sticking out tongue

And one more advise....after your observership, DONT BE SHY!!! ask for you very strong Letter of Recommendation, you worked very hard for it!
