33 years old lady came to the ER room , and complains that she has been raped by her boyfriend with whom she has been on a date. she appears disheleved,anxious, and spacey. physical examination is normal, and genital examination has shown no seminal fluid. it is most likely that this lady....
a.is delusional
b.is suffering from hypochondriasis
c.is a drug abuser
d.generalised anxiety disorder
e.was raped and rapist used a condom

if she were raped then she must have resisted so there should be signs of genital trauma or resistance... so i think she is delusional... :?:

i will go for the option E,
no need for sign of resistance to prove rape, non-consent intercourse come into the definition of rape, and ofcourse its a date rape.

I'M SURPRISED HOW ALL OF U CUD GET THIS ONE WRONG.
SHE OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT RAPED COZ THE QUESTION SAYS THERE IS NO TRAUMA.......I MEAN UNLESS SHE STARTED ENJOYING IT.
AND AS FAR AS ACCUSING HER BOYFRIEND OF RAPE IS CONCERNED .... THAT DOES NOT FALL INTO THE CATEGORY OF DELUSIONS.
DRUG ABUSE IS A GOOD OPTION BUT
I WOULD GO FOR MALINGERING
WHATS THE ANSWER?

33 years of age, which implies that she is married. you have to assume so many things on boards folks ! (that is the key). legallly it is not required that she has to prove that she resisted. infact recently courts convicted the accused , even though the victim has actually begged him to use condom!physical trauma is not necessary especially in a married , 33 years OLD lady who could offer little resistance, if any.most rapists use condoms inorder to avoid being identified(DNA test)! and for a precaution against STDs!! this is one of the very few straight forward questions you can expect on boards.if still in doubt , refer, BARBARA FADEM, BRS and highyield.
