I have indicated only H1 in the required visa in profile. Although i will never take up J1, is it wise to change it to both H1/J1, in order to get more i.v?
or does that incline me in accepting J1.... I have applied to programs sponsoring both though...

Last year I mentioned just H1 and got fewer calls than my counterparts who mentioned J1 and had lesser scores. Guess it does matter to the program, the visa you are willing to take up. Also, it might be a filter they use to sort through the sea of applications.
Just my opinion.

Thanx mind mentor. I just changed it to Both H1 and J1. Hope some i.v. start pouring in.....
