Hi Every one
I just received my first rejection letter, I am Not sad. Atleast I now feel that someone is actually looking at the application
It was Henry Ford Genral Surgery Program (only cat is offered)
Me Step2 ck 246/99, Waiting result for step1 , will take CS in 3 weeks
I am US citizen but studied medicine in egypt
No USCE
Although I am not annoyed because I am hoping to get a preliminary then start strong and early next year.
But what is really annoying me right now is that I all the guys whom I met and got to great residencies didn't have impressive applications. they were all (I am talking about 3 or 4 guys) low 80s in their score and needed visas. but the trick as they adviced me was to get clinical experience in the us and the lors. and I have been trying to get into any observership or what ever here but no success
most of the hospitals I applied to had the same responce "we used to offer observerships but we stopped sorry" except for upenn who told me to put an application to get into a waiting list that has no specifc opportunity what so ever
