I'm ging to take Step 2 in 10 days. I only practiced Kaplan Qbank, Kaplan simulated, Kaplan Q book and some questions from NMS book. I could not practice UW questions because I work full time and I do not have full internet access. My scores are around 70 and 80%; For everyone who already passed the step 2, do you think UW is critical to get a good score? Are the real exam questions close to UW or with Kaplan material is enough?? Please send me a guide Thanks

If money is not a huge issue, you might want to take a NBME self-assessment for $45. This will give you a rough idea where you are at. I personally didn't use UW. I only used Qbook and Mock Exam, and got a high-end 99. I thought Qbook was fairly similar in style and format to the real exam, and it also has pretty good explanations. Mock Exam is not similar to the real exam, but nonetheless it is a good review/learning aid.

UW will get you closest to the question pattern of USMLE. No doubt about it. But it is most useful as a preparation tool. But if you are going to take step 2 within 10 days it will of not that helpful. Still if there is no monetary constraints & you can give it 6-8 hrs for rest of the days UW will be a very good review tool. But dont get disheartened by the very tuogh questions that comprise 10 - 15% of UW questions.
