bith cases appear identical, stress on eliciting fresh complaints(head injury, bleeding, giddiness),etc , then do u a routine PAMHUGSFOSS.
D/D therefore will depend onthe complaint associated with the injury
counsel on avoiding unsafe streets, being under the influence of alcohol,etc.... i know u may not have solid points to counsel, but the SP knows that

how do u ask the patient about past history. i mean how is it releated to the present battering she has faced. how do we link past history to the present problems tothe patients

i would also counsel about her present relationships - maybe it wasn't a street fight, maybe she got beat up by a lover - you should ask why she didn't present until the next day. and i would ask about past history by laying it out for the patient - "to better help you, i need to understand a little bit more about your past medical history..."
