i hav an inv on 27th but my daughter got sick...i tried calling n mailing the program cordinater but her voice mail sayz shes on vacation till 30 th oct..her mail responded by automatic out of office reply...i want to reschedule ..wat shud i do?plz help i just hav 2 dayz left

Get another number for the hospital and speak to someone else ..if the program coordinator is on holiday untill 30th oct and you hav your interview on 26th ,this means there are people who are taking care of the interview process .Try to speak to them.If nothing works ,call program director.

thanks guyz.the int is in mount sinai (north general hospital)... the hospitals own website www.northgeneral.org dusnt hav any freakin info on the psychiatry dep or any department watsoever...freida gives the main mount sinai website...where shud i get the no. from?shud i just call the PD then?wud it look appropriate?thank you so much 4 ur help

thank you so much every1 for ur help...this forum has always been very helpful to me...at last i had to talk to the PD (Dr.Singh)..she seemed very cool abt it n said that i can reschedule it wen the co ordinater comes back...thanks guyz once again..

blury, do everything you can to make to the interview!!! What will PD think if you reschedule it just becos of your sick daughter? One thing PD worries about an applicant who's a parent is how they are going to handle situation like this. I understand your situation, but for just this once (unless you have tons of other invitations), can you ask someone to care your daughter?

tiger u r right but she is only 3 months old and she has a severe URI.i cant leave her with the baby sitter incase she gets more sick.i do hav other inv but my preferance is in the ny area b/c i live in va and dont want to move far b/c of my husband...but then again its luck..hope they understand
