how does they both differ in the cord ?

I don't know what u mean by cord but CM is end of spincal cord which is L2 region and CE contians spinal roots of L3 or L4 nervs onward(exactly number i don't remember).

cord is the spinal cord so in what u say it means CM is the spinal cord itself but CE is the nerves arising from L3 and downwards its that i can picture out how it would look like and till wht level of the spinal cord do we have the meningeal covering
