Dissecting aortic aneurysm is old name of Aortic dissection.In pure aortic dissection ,there is no aneurysm.
Marfan syndrome ----------> fragmenation of elstic fibers in tunica media leading to
- Aortic aneurysms
- Aortic Dissection
These are two different diseases

The most significant of the defects in the syndrome are cardiovascular abnormalities, which may include dilatation of aortic root, with aortic regurgitation, and prolapse of the mitral valve. Affected people may develop a dissecting aortic aneurysm.
