not ductus arteriosus, smal, ductus vnosus. this thing involves after birth because the umbilical vein is ligated; ductus venosus takes blood from the umbilical vein to the IVC; when blood no longer passes through UV (ligated), the DVenosus transforms into ligamentus venosus.
