My 2 US LoRs writers sent their letters directly to ECFMG. But ---- their letters are not uploaded yet. They weren't scaned yet. So, my application is incomplete. I just got my first rejections due to incomplete aplication, (not because of my score, age, etc.... only because i don't have these letters). I called ECFMG, they didn't know anything about letters for me. I told LoRs writers about this, but they seemed to be irritated with my question and told me that they did everything OK. These letters were supposed to be very strong US letters and many Univ programs have been waiting for them. I can tell that my invitations for interviews depend on these letters. I don't have them. Don't know what happened, why these letters weren't scanned and uploaded yet. Is there anything I can do?

if you can find the tracking number for the courier service they were sent through ( from your consultants secretrary's ), that will be beneficial... ECFMG ERAS is generally very good in answering queries by email.. if you email them in detail and the name and position of your LOR writer, may be they can be of help.. other wise call again.. give it a couple of days between your letters being sent, rcvd and then scanned.... ERAS told me once that they never rcvd my LoR packet, even though my courier tracking showed that they were delivered and i thought they were lost.... until they acknowledged the receipt of my LoRs 15 days after it was delivered.... and it took another 10 days for them to be scanned... this was in 1st week of september..

Hi Moozy, thank you very much for your advice. I did as you told me. One letter was finally found. The second one is still missing but i hope that it will be found, too. Appreciate your help. GL.

ECFMG are very good in loosing your documents and letters as well, they screwedup my DS-2019 twice,so one option is to take that letter from your atttendings office and mail it by fedex/any tracable service.

yes, i know, I was so afraid of losing letters, I asked writers to send their letters to me that i would send them to ECFMG myself. They refused to do it and they sent letters directly to ECFMG office. Each my document which I have sent myself to ECFMG via Courier service, was scanned in time and there was no problem. So apparently they really did something wrong.

you could ask them to seal it in a envelope and give them toyou so that yoou can fedex it or tell their secretaries that you will pay for fedex
