HELLO not all of my LOR's have points 1 to 4 done. You guys thinks this will be a big problem???!??? Write your letter on official institutional letterhead and manually sign the letter with "blue ink." Only if you have an official institutional seal, please affix the institutional seal to enhance the authenticity of the letter. Address the letter to "Dear Program Director;" letters with individualized salutations cannot be processed in the ERAS system. (I would be happy to provide you a list of programs to which I am applying). Include in your letter whether or not I have waived my right to see this recommendation, as indicated below. Include my name and AAMC ID, as listed above, in the subject line or body of the letter. Print your letter so that it may be scanned and added to my files. Attach this sheet to your letter before sending it, to help the ECFMG identify your letter with my file. Finally, please deliver the letter to the ECFMG at the address below

Don't worry about the blue ink, as long as you can tell it's original... Letterhead is important, that makes it official looking... It can also read Dear Colleagues (esp. if a respected member of a certain specialty addresses other members of the field... ) Seal isn't that important; none of my LORs had it, and I called ECFMG they said it was OK.
