if its not a major depression then again it cant be the withdrawl symptoms of any stimulant, bc in wihthdrawl of stimulants there is increased in appetite and wt gain where as the pt had decreased appetite and wt loss. then g looks closer to the dx but again there is no symptoms of aggression or impulsiveness, hyperactiviy, but i will go for the G plz post its correct answer with some explanation

f , is the correct answer , since the clinical vignette typically satisfies all the signs and symptoms of withdrawl of these drugs. clue is he himself admits to occasional recreational drug use. you have to smell a rat when there is none on boards. here , patient admits the drug usage, since he was fired from job, his current economy is poor, and given the choices F IS THE MOST APPROPRIATE. CONGRATS TO THOSE WHO OPTED FOR THAT!!

MDD is preferable diagnosis. 5 criterions of Mdd is present: sleep, weight, appetite loosening, interests decreased, loss of energy + duration more than two weeks and depressive mood (very probably, not stay in the question) Withdrawal from cocain/amphetamines - hours-few days
