Dear bbb,
I'm sorry to bother you but I really need your point of view and eventually an advice. I'm ECFMG cert since august 2006. I had 87 in step2 and 95 in step 1 and I have one month US observership. I tought I was a decent applicant and I applied to 93 programs in mid september. I just can't understand how come as of today, I have no interview, 4 rejections and 3 on hold. Many people in the forum have interviews with just 1 or 2 exams, or with lower scores than mines. I noticed that many are GC holder, US citizen or newly graduated.

I just need your (sincere) opinion on this issue. First question: Do you think my 6 years graduation, my second attempt on step 2 and my IMG status can be the cause of my 0 interview? (I selected the programs accurately so that to meet their requirement). or you think I might have done a terrible mistake in my application/PS?

second question: If I didn't get interviews yet I will probably not make it this year. what can I do to improve my chances next year? You know this world better than me and I really need you to help me out with this.
Thank you so much in advance

Sorry, I don't give chances because every program in the country looks at something just a little different.
