Today received letter from Johns Hopkins univ anesthesiology program- "on-hold" kind of letter. However, after checking out their website I found out that they already have results of MAtch 2007 posted!and sure enough, none of their applicants is IMG!
I'm in shock!

Those are applicants that applied last year for PGY2 (CA-1) position for 2007.

I hope You're right, silenced MD.
Otherwise I'll be terribly disappointed in morale of this program.

hey if u get the interview from hopkins you are going for the 2008 batch because you'll have to do 1 year of prelim somewhere.

I'm not so sure. I applied for cathegorical, 2007-2011, and it doesn't require preliminary....or at least that's how I understood it at the moment of application...

Even if you apply to categorical, you are not an anesthesiology resident until PGY - 2.

Hello, I am a caribbean medical student... I am in my 4th year and will graduate in March 2008.

I have a few more interviews... St. Joseph's (patterson NJ), UMDNJ NJMS, and UMASS.

Best of luck.
