a 2 years old male child was brought to pediatrician. he is aloof, did not show stranger anxiety, oblivious to external stimuli, and in a world of his own. he compulsively bites his fingers. his self-mutilation was the chief compliaint from mother. physician suggested that parents fully ignore the child while he is indulging in self-mutilating behaviour. a couple of weeks later , parents report that there is a decline in his behaviour.what is the principle physician used.
