Which two joints are never involved in Rhematoid Arthritis? 1) Spine? 2) Distal interphalangeal joints? Please let me know. I am reading Kaplan medicine notes and this is one of the fill in the blanks. Thanks!

most manifestations involve PIP joint i.e. swan neck deformity & bouteniere's deformity. cervical spine is most commonly affected. only lumbar spine is spared usually.
