Hi all...I am done with my step 1 and step 2 cs and scheduled for step 2 ck in nov.I am a canadian citizen and have also done Medical council of canada evaluation and qualifying exams.I want to ask does having the citizenship and having those canadian exam gives me some edge and also which visa option should i go for ...H1B or TN.. Also does it helps if i have done an observership or extership in canada(is it comparable to Us clinical experience)Any one please..Thanks....

yes it would help if u have an observership or even better an externship from Canada in an ACGME accredited medical school/hospital. Dont think canadian exams help.
