My Guess is B No offense but Doc be aware that usmle is Much less likely to ask specific qs on duration of action or half life (there just not as Hy Yield, also pharmacokinetics is different in each individual eg. some people are slow acetylators) They are More likely to ask qs on mechanism of action, side effects, drug- drug interacions, specific classifications ,ANS, CNS, CV, antibiotics, neuronal blockers, etc. Also our standard books for Pharm(Kaplan or Lippincott) dont always if ever give that info. Im not complaining just mentioning this objectively.

well correct answer is 10 hours after a single administration of mecamylamine. It produces a competitive nicotinic block of ganglia. hey I am not offended. Any truthful advice is welcome. Have u take step1, plz I would like more input from u, mentioning what type of pharma questions are asked on the real exam. thanks

From what Ive seen usmle likes qs on mechanism of action, side effects, clinical uses, pharmacokinetics, esp. the proto type drug in that class, distinguishing toxicities. drug/drug intereactions They seem to like ANS, CNS, CV, Antimicrobials, Toxicology, NSAIDs, Arachodonic acid pathway, Competitive antagonist,Cancer Therapy,GI,major Rx therpy in High impact disease. Hope this helps
