Got results today, 244/99.
After taking the test I felt so depressed.
Now, although it's raining cats and dogs, I feel great.
I have no recipe, with 70h/week job I studied as much as I was able to endure (definitely did not study the way I wanted to).

Whats your opinion vradojc1.......do we need to study anything else besides kap notes & Goljan path for a 99? What were yr books like? PLZ do reply.

Didn't have kap notes nor Goljan.
Books:
Anatomy - High-yield - Did it 3 times - even after that I didn't feel comfortable with that when taking qBanks
Neuroanatomy - High-yield. Same as above+the fact that personally I hate neuroscience which made it even harder.
Embriology - High-yield - Did it twice, actually great book, but it is a low yield topic so the things you would do from 1st Aid might be enough.
Pathology:
a) BRS - 3x - great book, I like the format because of the questions at the end of the chapter.
b) Robbins Review - excellent for me
Physiology:
a) BRS - 2x - so, so - didn't like it, very "dry"
b) Color atlas of physiology - nice book but too detailed
Pharmacology - Katzung Review - 3x - excellent, questions at the end of the chapter are very picky but helped a lot
Biochemistry - BRS - 3x - loved that book, although there was little of biochem on my exam (unfortunately)
Microbiology & Imunology - Jawetz Review, 2x + the summary at the end of the book 1x before the exam - great book. The summary itself covers pretty much all you need
Behavioral - High-yield - hate this subject, I would definitely recommend going over hipotethical situations in 1st Aid.

As you can see I didn't do histology and mol. bio. (I hoped that my knowledge of it would suffice, however there were a few questions with some new molecular medicine topics that I had no freaking clue about). smiling face

Mol bio - there were a few questions (read 3-4) and they were all new (to m at least).
