I planning to apply for 30 something surgery prelims programs. Could anyone please tell me about FMG friendly programs in surgery. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I don't think that list of IMG friendly hospitals is very accurarte. I checked the list for IM in CA, and at least 3 programs listed there are definetely NOT IMG friendly. Just be careful...

What i did was going by that web site, i wrote emails to the program directors and asked specifically if they are IMG friendly, sponsor visas and when their deadlines were. i applied only to those centers taht replied cos i believe the others are not friendly cos they did not reply. next i went to FREIDA and wrote similar emails to a total of 98 programs. 35 replied and 23 were friendly so i applied to these. there was one that replied late after the deadline but she allowed me to apply and she downloaded my application. you may want to try this system. it is very tedious but it is better than just applying blindly.
