Generally the PD offers it...but I do know of people who asked for a pre-match outright.
If a place is famous for pre-matches and you feel that the interview is really going good, you may initially hint (if at all possible) to the PD that you are interested in one...and if the response seems favorable...go for it!
Dont worry Chemamr...ya will probably offered one outright! If not, just mention yr "forum hero" status and that will impress the hell outta any PD! :-)
