Has anyone taken the CS in LA recently? Which hotel is good to stay at? How was the experience?

i took exam 8/0106 i stayed in hacienda hotel, walking distance from the center and lots of restaurants nearby. there's a 24 hour store in front. hotel price is reasonable. i booked thru expedia.com for flight and hotel and for me it was ok.

one of friends stayed at Hacienda, was not happy at all. expensive & uncoopererative, insensitive & rude staff. Walking distance from center.
other things about restuarants & stores are true. But U don't want to spoil your mood on exam day with those kind of staff in Hacienda.
