No - what they do look for is if you took longer than usual to graduate medical school. That's mostly what is looked for.

Thanks BBB and dev MY medical education was extended by six months because I was sick and couldnot appear for my surgery exam. I took my surgery exam after 6 months and completed my graduation. Do I have to mention about these six months? Iam worried coz although it is a short duration , I think it may create a negative impact on program directors

Don't you mention it in your CAF? Sure, it's under medical education interupted or extended and reason. Just fill it in - it's not a big deal, they just look for academic reasons (couldn't pass a course for academics, not health)

If your school was extended, it's a yes. If it wasn't, it's a no.
