Dear all fellow, I am wondering whether Wisconsin university provide preliminary year in internal medicine. I am now searching for the PGY-1 year before Neurology training. If anyone knows, please help. In NRMP/ERAS website, only categorical program appears on screen.

I called the neurology program and they said they would arrange the interview for PGY-1 (IM) position for me. However, in the website of internal med department, it does not post anything about preliminary year. I am so confuse..... whether Wisconsin University provides prelim in internal medicine????

NRMP would just let you know if they prelim year is in the match. Maybe they work that if you match in Neuro, you will be hired for a prelim? EVERY program is going to be different.
