Here's a useful rule for membranoproliferative glomerulopathy I came up with... Rule of 40s. It's 40% of idiopathic Nephrotic Syndromes, affecting males in their 40s, 40% of pts remit spontaneously, 40% relapse, remain slowly progress to ESRD.
Question is, up to 50% of pts present hematuria and 10%, hypertension. I thought these were very rare findings in context of Nephrotic Syndrome..?
