thank you Loser (winer!) I got arround that problem just now but now i have another one. my word coun is 685, i reduced text size to 10 and it fits in one M. Word page but after I uploaded in ERAS and try to print is a 2 page doc ( the second page has only the last 3 lines). how do I know the program will see it in one page or if the eras system will cut those last 3 lines? is it all about word count or what?

As far as know programs will see it as a 2 page, 3 page etc.. document... Or at least that is what I was told, and what I am hoping for , too.... My PS is a good 2 (full) pages.... I am sure BBB knows. She/He will shed some light on this... I hope...

bbb can you tell us how long can the PS be? mine is 670 words long (text size 10) and takes one page and a 7 lines block on the second page. its that too big? is it about word count or numer of lines? does it have to fit in one microsoft word page?

Nope, I don't know. This happens on the side of ERAS that I don't see.

Hey Hardhead, here is the answer to your question (I think). I copied it from ERAS' webpage. To begin working on your personal statement, select the "Personal Statements" tab. Copy or directly type in your personal statement. It is limited to 32,000 characters. And it must be formatted using standard ASCII characters. Do not use bold, italic, or special characters. Also, be descriptive in the title of your personal statement. Since programs will not be able to see the titles of your personal statements, use them to help you identify the personal statement when you are assigning it to programs later in the process. When you have completed the personal statement, print copies for your own records. I hope it helps. Best, Mufurc
