Hey Mediocre,
I didn't see ur note till today...
I am appearing for the test on the 20th of december..just in process of winding up pharmac. Am still left with the first read of anatomy and biochemistry. I have to finish with that in this month only so that I have 40-50 days for consolidating everything. I do not want to postpone my exam...just praying and hoping that I can do it. How about you?
By the way..I like the footnote ..I sure have the castles in the right place..lets hope the foundation gets right in place and on time..

I am on my first read thru kaplan with the dvds
finished off anat,and physio 4/5th
longway to go.... Igot hold of kap stuff only too late
however have done most of FA and BRS path
It would not be easy postponing the exam as it would jump into the next year...may be they will ask to reschedule the test,or may b a change in exam protocol ..too scary to risk a postrponement
i guess its just do or die moment for me !!

I am also following Kaplan but like you, i got the stuff late in my prep, by that time I had already read BRS for patho, physio and BS. i'll now follow them only but try to read some stuff from kaplan and listen to goljan audio for patho. Have recently started listening to the videos. i just hope I have enough time..I m trying but have not yet touched 10 hours..need to do it soon..
what is ur schedule like?

my advise is u need 2 readings min of kaplan to clear wid descent percentile as the second reading is where u consolidate and that is the key...so work hard but dont rush in... give ur mind to absorb n do lot of qs ...that is the key.. time is not the issue , percentile is ...

I guess I am giving 2 readings in one go..first I am going through the LN and then over the DVD's..after this in the last 6 weeks I'll go thru the stuff again..with FA and the questions...
when are u appearing for the test..

you only strenthened the possibility of my postponing the exam
was thinking of it 4 some time as i might hav to do MRCP1 in dec-jan aswell
Dr ecv ,as kashdoc said Scores r more imp, than timing,but donot let this discourage u if u hav the potential to do it in a month,so many peopl hav done it ,Donot let my backing attitude weaken u ,dats the message!!
