A 29 yr old college student presents with complaints of yelllow discolouration of his eyes.He has been suffering from sore throat for the past week.He tried several over the counterproducts to relieve the symptoms,but all were in vain.He also complaints of fatigue,and malaise.His examination reveals BP of 130/70,temp of 102 F RR of 110,and PR of 110/min.Examination of throat reveals palatal petechiae with streaky heamorrhages and blotchy red macules.Tonsils are enlarged and covered with whitish exhudate.Lymph nodes are palpable deep to the sterno cleidomastoid.Abdominal exam show normal bowel sounds ,no tenderness ,no hepatosplenomegaly and no shifting dullness.His lab show

Erythrocyte=5 million
Hb=12g/dl
HCT=46%
PLt=137,000
band neutrophils=4
Lymphos=60
atypical lymphos=30
monocytes=5
eosinophils=3
basophils=2
what do u think is the diagnosis?

i think it is infectious mononucleosis.
