Thanks to all. But I am in a mess. Due to my ignorance My certification related documents reached ecfmg from my college only on 3rd oct 2006 and I called ECFMG and they said I will recieve my certification only after 10weeks at the latest and I'll be able to give step3 only in dec. will it affect my chances of getting an interview or H1 visa? Plese reply?....

congrats dear, unfortunately I too am struggling with my certification, i really want to get step 3 out of the way but alas!!!!!! 10 weeks why ten weeks is the regular time it takes, I will call them tomorrow and inquire. good luck and congrats once more

they dont want to commit and say that to be on the safer side. they said my verification would take 6-8 weeks, but they did it in a week.

no they it wont affect. Maimonides is a good program one of my friends matched there last year. i also have few seniors who are there. they seem contented.
