Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum, and I'm still trying to figure out which sources to use and which to forget about. I have the 2005 set of Kaplan books as well as the DVDS that I bought off the Internet. Which books/DVDs in Kaplan do you all think are absolutely essential. I don't have much time to study so I don't want to spend too much time on these books as I also plan on going through First Aid a few times and some of the high yield books (anatomy, neuroanatomy, cell biology, histology). Also, everyone keeps talking about the Goljan materials. I have the audios which I also bought online, and I was wondering which notes are yous peaking of: the pdf ones that people give you with the audio or an actual book you can purchase. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!! (in advance!)

biochemistry and behavorial science is a MUST. physio u can decide for urself. try reading the notes and then going thru a video to decide. its repititive but ppl generally like it. micro is good for slides but not essential. do the patho review ( last two lectures in the patho dvd) and do any relevant chapters whose histopath u find difficult. eg renal chapter for EM. i liked the video on brainstem and spinal cord for neuroanat too. goljan notes are available as free downloads. rapid review is a book series of which patho is done by goljan. a 2004 edition is available and i liked it. but i dunno how different it is from the hnotes. look around and there may be a free download for it too !!. remember to download goljan slides too. good luck
