I am an IMG from India currently doing my internship. I will be simultaneously preparing for Step 1 exams which i hope to take in end of Feb 2007. Havent really studied enough for the exam till now. Finished Genetics (80%), Behavioural sciences(30%) and Pathology (15%). Will speed up now.
Doing well in the Usmle has been a dream ever since i joined medical college. I have been looking forward to this moment for the last five years and now the time to LIVE MY DREAM has arrived. This forum is certainly one of the best things about usmle prep. I invite all of u to come and write in this thread and help me in my prep.
As for my goals. I plan to finish Pathology, Genetics, Behavioural Science, Physiology competely by the end of this month. Hope to finish Kaplan Dvd's of the same simultaneously, Hear Goljan audios and Do some reading of FA everyday. 20 more days left to go to finish all of this.

I will read FA for one hour
Finish Fluid and Haemodynamics, Neoplasia and Environmental Pathology from all Pathology sources.
Read one chapter of behavioural science
Listen to Goljan audio for neoplasia and fluid haemodynamics
Do some exercise if possible
Leave the rest upto GOD
Hope to speed up

studied well in the morning. but somehow lost steam towards the evening. watched some kaplan pathology videos. still have a lot to cover for the day. did one hour of fa in the morning too along with some pathology from his book.
well time to study and catch up on the lost time
will keep u all posted about my catching up later
really hope to improve now

studied slowly yesterday. tried hard but got distracted due to one or the other thing again. finished some part from fa. did one chapter from behavioural science and watched three kaplan videos. read almost full fluid and haemodynamics from goljan, am running behind schedule
gotta somehow finish pathology physiology and behavioural science this month

Am back again after a month. i finished a lot of pathology in this time. almost done 70%. Left with git, endo, skin, and some general path.
Did about 40 pages of physiology. will try to do same amount today again.
Target for today...
finish rbc wbc and plateletdisorders from goljan review, goljan audios and kaplan ideos.
finish 40 pages of physiology
that should be more than enough for a day

lets see... its been months since i wrote on this diary... now with my prep entering the finl two months i guess its time to be more regular.
todays target... only six hrs left
finish 100 pages of hy histo... mazaaaa jayega agar ho gaya
