yeah its duration of action is about 2-4 hours. 
Physostigmine stimulates muscarinic, nicotinic receptors of autonomin NS and also nicotinic receptors of NMJ. It can enter and stimulate CNS (seizures in high dose). Thereupeutic value in atony of bladder n intestine. Used in tx of OD of atropine, phenothiazines and TCA
