hi guys, i made a huge mistake. i assumed i would be able to get MSPE from my medical school, so in the online application, i claimed i would provide MSPE. but then my medical school said they won't provide any MSPE for any student. they only provide transcript and confirm credential. what to do now? if i knew earlier, i wouldn't say i would provide it. now what to do? should i contact ecfmg-eras to ask them to change for me? very anxious now. i really need your guys' sincere advices. thanks a lot.

Call ECFMG ERAS and tell them the situation... they might come up with something..
Can your medical College not even give you a deans letter?
If they can provide a Deans letter .. it should be fine as ECFMG accepts both dean's letter or MSPE....you can then get it uploaded by 1st november..

I think you should call ECFMG to let them know the situation. They will put a filler on the MSPE place so that your application will be complet. Its not easy to request an MSPE for some medical schools, I DO understand your difficulty.

thanks a lot guys. i will call ecfmg. yeah, my medical school refused to provide either mspe or dean's letter. they said they would not provide something subject (like recommendation) but object (like scores in transcript). pretty upset by them.

I'm in the same situation. Will probably get some tupe of letter that resembles a LOR, and it might still take another week!

can't you make your own MSPE, have your school read over it, approve it, and send it off?
