Hey , I bought it 10 days ago...Done with almost 300 Questions.
I like it a lot. Depends on person 2 person. I personally think kaplan q-bank is way too easy. It just helps you remember things. But this one is challenging...For those who like it tough 
 and I recommend doing it b4 q-bank cz this is just a little bit harder and it will make u feel good when u score higher on kaplan after getting done with this. It is close to q-book...which I think is a lil bit harder than kaplan q-bank....

I totally agree with you doctor 80,,,,,,
i haven't taken step 1 yet, but from what i seen in forums before and heard from people, no qbank is comparable to real thing. Qbanks are meant to provide you with concepts. and if you ask me kaplan is probably the best one since they have the most experience with this and know what concepts you need to have for the exam. the others such as UW, USMLE RX, SCORE95 are relatively new and wouldn't know as many useful or highyield concepts. in fact i think these new qbanks are just spinoffs, i remember a while ago, one of them was actually hiring md's to write usmle style questions for them, so i don't know why people are so crazy about these new qbanks.
i know if i made a qbank website, i would make multiple logins on all the usmle websites. then i would randomly post topics, help out others, answer there questions and etc. you know,,,, earn there trust. and even post a fake experience on how i got a 99 on step 1 while promoting my qbank. and thats how they all do it. even our beloved kaplan, but they have proven to be better than others.
but kaplan is also the most expensive,

I RATE THEM MUCH MUCH HIGHER THAN KAP Q BANK
AS
1.THE QS THERE IN UWRLD ARE 3-4 STEPS BASED,U HVE TO THNK HARD TO ANSWER THOSE QS,FULLY CONCEPTUAL
2.THERE R SOME ONE LINERS OR EASY QS BUT STLL ALL IN ALL THE PACKAGE IS AWESME
3.IT COVERS PATHOLOGY(500QS) ,PHARMACOLOGY(270QS) N BIOSTATS(62QS) REALLY WELL
4.HAS EXCELLENT(HONESTLY) EXPLANATIONS TO THE QS
5.MAY BE ORIGINAL USMLE QS ARE BIT EASIER THAN THOSE IN UWRLD(I HVENT TAKEN IT YET BUT TOMORROW WILL BE ABLE TO TELL U THE COMPARISON INSHALLAH)

Hi salmonella , dr dolittle and talal,
Thanks a lot for ur response .Well, I am done with first reading of the text .... plan to take exam by end of nov. inshALLAH. So I am really running short of time .... I have a lot to do in this 1 n half month. I have started UW few days back , 50% done with 58 % cumulative score ( I am feeling tooooo BAD abt the score ) I have q bank 2006 , havnt started it yet.
So in short I have a lottttttttttt to do ..... please do advice me how to make best use of this time to improve my score.

I too have my exam in nov ( last week) ... I am currently doing UW and its tough but good. I have no idea how useful it will be for exam .

hi doc 80 ..hw r things going ...at present i am doing a reveiw of neuroanat ( am really weak in this area) and also and doing a block of qs from kaplan qbank each day........day after i switch to anat/histo and finish it in 3days....along with behavioural questions.....what abt u???hws usmle orld shaping up??
