Hi guys,
I am an IMG from Australia. I have been enjoying reading some of the topics in this website. It has been really helpful. I am planning to take the CS in December this year. Can I take the CS first then step 2 CK? or it has to be in order?
Second is, what books would you guys recommend to pass this exam? I read only first aid and usmle world. Do people use kaplan books for step 2 cs? or there is no kaplan books for CS.

yes you can give CS first then Ck
i think these 2 books are enough for this test

I used & recommend both, extensive overlapping but few cases exclusive in both

i used only mastering the USMLE step 2 cs and i passed. took the exam 08/01/06 in L.A. i'm also an IMG from Philippines.
