syndactyly is failure of...?
i know it should be failure of apoptosis, but in uw it is said to be a failure of differentiation confused

it's of course, apoptosis

Syndactyly is a failure of differentiation in which the fingers fail to separate into individual appendages. This separation usually occurs during the sixth and eighth weeks of embryologic development.

Webbed fingers would hae been an example of dec apoptosis..
Syndactyly is due to dec differentiation.
